They say "If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life." An author can get very involved with their characters and the story -- re-reading it multiple times, they can miss things because their mind sees what they think they wrote, rather than the words on the page. Finding the continuity, spelling, punctuation, etc. issues in every book/series I’ve read is what I do. I would like to help an author address these before a book gets published. Rates are by the job and affordable. Contact me with a 2 - 3 page sample of your work for a return sample edit and a quote. I edit in MSWord using the Track Changes function. If you prefer another program, I am adaptable. You should expect a two-week turnaround for a mid-length book, written in a modern style. A detail intense, classically styled book (ie: Tolkien or Charles Dickens), may take longer. Your story will be read through twice, doing both Proofreading and Editing at the same time.
